Pell Grant is awarded only to eligible undergraduate students who have not earned a Bachelor’s or professional degree. Students with a Bachelor’s or professional degree may be eligible for student loans.
To receive Federal funding, a student must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at on the FAFSA website. Documents needed to complete this free application are the most recent federal tax returns and W2 forms. Once the application has been processed by the Department of Education, the student should access their SSCC Online Account to view their financial aid status.
Remember: You must file a new financial aid application (FAFSA) every academic year in order to continue to receive uninterrupted aid.
