On Tuesday, Aug. 8, alumni Dr. Joe and Susan Story visited Snead State along with their family and friends for a special dedication ceremony. The College honored the Storys for their generosity and support of the Snead State and our students.

The Storys began their visit with a tour of the new Workforce and Career Institute in Guntersville. Following the tour, Snead State President and First Lady Dr. Joe and Janet Whitmore hosted lunch for the Story family.

Later that afternoon, the community gathered for a ribbon cutting to spotlight the naming of the Administration Building after the Storys. Boaz Mayor David Dyar presented the Storys with keys to the City, and Dr. Whitmore read and presented a resolution honoring the couple.
