Counseling Services

Feeling nervous, burned out, anxious, or depressed? Need someone to talk to?

Mental health services are available to all Snead State students and employees at no charge. Counselors are available to support you day, night, & weekends via teletherapy. Anyone that has an active @alabama.edu email address is eligible for this free service. Insurance is not needed nor collected for these services.

  • A 24/7 crisis hotline where individuals have access to a licensed counselor who is equipped to assist in emergent health needs (*for emergencies, one should always dial 9-1-1 first). The number is 833-434-1217.
  • Ability to schedule 50-minute teletherapy sessions with a licensed counselor. Visit https://app.uwill.com/ or www.snead.edu/mentalhealth and click the “Register” button to create an account. Use your A#@alabama.edu email address.
  • Access to an online wellness hub where users can watch videos and read articles about important mental health related topics such as time management, navigating anxiety and depression, nutritious eating, meditation, exercise, and much more. Visit https://app.uwill.com/ or www.snead.edu/mentalhealth and click the “Register” button to create an account. Use your A#@alabama.edu email address when registering your Uwill account.
