The Snead State Concert Choir is a non-auditioned choral group that performs four to six times per semester, both on campus and off-campus. The choir sings a wide range of repertoire, including scared and secular selections, spirituals, folk songs, musical theatre, jazz, and classical repertoire. The choir rehearses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-3 p.m. in room 103 of the Maze Music Building. Students can participate by simply attending rehearsals and performances, and they can also earn college credit for participating by registering for Chorus I-IV (MUL 180, 181, 280 or 281). If you sang in your high school choir, community vocal/choral groups, church choir or praise team, or even if your only singing background is singing along with the radio or in the shower, you are welcome to join us for fellowship and great music!
