The Snead State Community College TRiO Program is partnering with the Boaz Church of God to collect supplies for Boaz Backpack Blessings.
Boaz Backpack Blessings provides food items to children within the school system who face hunger. Many times, the only meals the children receive each day are the ones provided during school. Boaz Backpack Blessings offers items the children can easily prepare themselves during weekends and holidays when they aren’t in school.
TRiO is collecting items through Nov. 19. Items may be dropped off at the TRiO offices, located in the Bevill Center on Snead State’s Boaz campus.
All donations should be of non-perishable items. No out-of-date foods will be accepted.
