Snead State Community College’s Marketing Department earned national recognition with a Silver Paragon Award from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR), presented during the organization’s national conference held March 26-28 in New Orleans.
The award, which honors excellence in marketing and communications among community and technical colleges, was presented to Snead State for second place in the radio advertisement category. The competition included 1,570 entries across 47 categories, submitted by 205 community colleges nationwide.
Snead State’s winning team includes Shelley Smith, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, and Anna Scott, Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by our peers for the work and creativity our team puts into every project,” said Smith. “We are proud to be a part of a college that promotes excellence in every facet and that gives us an opportunity to share positive news of what makes Snead State special.”
The NCMPR Paragon Awards are the only national competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and PR professionals at two-year colleges.
