Students with Snead State Community College’s Youth Leadership Development Program are hosting a Walk for Warriors on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the 5K Walk begins at 9 a.m. at the Plunkett Wallace Gymnasium on West Mann Avenue in Boaz. There’s no cost to participate, but donations will be collected to benefit Alabama Veterans.

Stars will be available for participants to print the names of their own American heroes and wear the stars in their honor or memory during the Walk for Warriors.

YLDP is a leadership program that works with Marshall County high school juniors and seniors to enhance character and leadership skills. The core pillars of the program are patriotism, faith, and character. More than 40 Marshall County juniors and seniors will be walking on campus with family and friends to honor American Warriors.
