Snead State FBLA-Collegiate Students Advance to National Conference

Students from the FBLA-Collegiate Chapter at Snead State Community College earned top honors at the 2025 Alabama State Leadership Conference.

The competition, held earlier this spring, showcased students from across the state demonstrating their knowledge and skills in various business-related events. Snead State students brought home multiple awards and will represent both the college and the state of Alabama at the National Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas, set for May 31–June 2.

Evan Patterson of Albertville took home first place in two events—Business Ethics and Parliamentary Procedure. Sarah McCullars, also of Albertville, earned first place in the Job Interview competition and second place in Foundations of Finance. Ethan Harris of Horton placed second in Foundations of Economics and finished fourth in International Business.

The FBLA-Collegiate division, formerly known as Phi Beta Lambda, is a premier student business organization that prepares college students for careers in business and leadership through academic competitions, professional development, and networking opportunities.
