Snead State Community College invites the community to join the celebration of Founder’s Day.
On Thursday, Oct. 21, the College will pay tribute to its rich history with activities, presentations, music and refreshments.
Founder’s Day will begin at 5 p.m. at the gazebo on the Boaz campus. The Jazz Band will provide music, and food trucks will be on campus for refreshments. The Alumni Association will be set up with information, and activities will be available for the whole family.
At 7 p.m., the event will move into Fielder Auditorium, located in the Administration Building at 220 North Walnut Street in Boaz. A special presentation will be led by the History@Snead student organization, looking back at Snead’s history from 1921 to present day. The presentation will also include music provided by the College’s Music Department.
