Founders Day Festival

Snead State is kicking off its 125th anniversary with a Founders Day Festival and Pageant on Saturday, Sept. 17. We are planning a day of fun for the whole family that is FREE and open to the community. The PAGEANT begins at 11:30 a.m. and is open to high school juniors and seniors and Snead State students. Prizes, including scholarships to Snead State, will be awarded to the winners and first runners-up in each of the two divisions. The registration packet for contestants can be found at www.snead.edu/foundersday, and the deadline to register is Friday, September 9. The FESTIVAL begins at 2 with live entertainment, food trucks, festival vendors, and a Kids Corner. The entertainment will include performances by Snead State Fine Arts, Brandon Elder, Nick Longshore and Country Case. All events will take place on the Boaz campus.
