Vax up Snead State, because we want you #ParsonProtected! Join us Thursday, Sept. 9, for a community vaccination clinic. The clinic, which is open from 8:30 AM-Noon and then 2-4 PM, is open to students, faculty, staff and the community! We have some cool incentives that you don’t want to miss, including a pretty big one for current students and spring 2022 students!
Those that attend and get vaccinated on Sept. 9 will receive a certificate that may be redeemed for a scholarship up to $501 that may be used during the Fall 2021 or Spring 2022 semester. This is the in-state tuition & fee cost of a three-semester-credit-hour class.
Other incentives include free t-shirts, gift certificates to the bookstore and cafeteria, and a free pass to any athletic event at Snead State.
- Which vaccine will be given? Both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be given.
- Who will be administering the vaccines? Boaz Discount Drugs will be on campus to administer vaccines at the clinic.
- What if I already have my vaccine? Can I still get the free class? The free class is only for individuals who attend the clinic on Sept. 9 and are vaccinated at our clinic. If you’ve already been vaccinated, drop by and show us your vaccination card to get a free t-shirt while supplies last.
