Commencement

Our Spring Commencement Ceremony is the largest event we host at Snead State Community College, and we look forward to this time to celebrate our students’ successes. Even though we are unable to have our traditional commencement ceremony on May 7 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we still wanted to host this event for our students before they move on to the next chapter of their lives.
We have rescheduled SSCC Commencement 2020 for Saturday, August 1. Ceremony times will be 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.Cap and gown pick-up is tentatively scheduled for July 7-10. We are still finalizing all of the details to make this event special for our graduates, and details regarding ceremony times, practice, caps/gown, etc. will be communicated as soon as possible.
We continue to monitor the situation with the coronavirus pandemic, and we will adjust plans as needed. We hope you are all staying healthy and safe during this time of social distancing.
