The Snead State Region 2 of the Alabama Consortium for Technology in Education serves the northeast Alabama counties of Marshall, Etowah, Cullman, and Blount. Public, private, and home schools in any of these counties are welcomed to participate in the ACTE Region 2 competition.

Please note that our deadlines are absolute. Be sure to have your entries in on time. Late registrations beyond January 24th, 2025, will not be accepted.

Registration

All required forms have been converted to electronic format and will be sent to your designed email. All completed documents will need to be sent to ACTERegion2@snead.edu.

You must submit the electronic Master Registration Form and all Project Registration sheets via email by 4 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, to ACTERegion2@snead.edu. No faxed or mailed copies will be accepted.

Within four days of receiving these, we will send each registered school a confirmation list showing their registered projects. Each sponsor should check for errors and omissions and provide corrections and/or changes via email no later than 4 p.m. on January 30, 2026.

The school should make a check payable to Snead State Community College to pay for each participant in the fair. Regardless of the number of entries by the student, there is a charge of $15 per person (student or chaperone), which includes lunch. Teachers and bus drivers may attend at no cost but must be included on the adult registration form. These checks may be mailed in advance or brought to the college on the day of the fair.
