Admissions Information

Mental Health Support for Veterans

Alabama veterans ages 18-34 now have access to FREE IMMEDIATE MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT. Through a partnership between the Alabama Department of Mental Health and teletherapy pioneer Uwill, this new program ensures veterans have access to free immediate mental health support. No cost, no insurance, no waiting weeks for an appointment.

Veterans have free access to:

  • Teletherapy: Six free teletherapy sessions with a licensed counselor of their choosing at a time that fits their schedule, including same-day appointments. Night and weekend availability.
  • Crisis Support: Unlimited crisis support 24/7/365 with a licensed counselor. Help is available by calling 205-928-6059.
  • Wellness: Programming designed to assist with stress, anxiety, sleep, and more from certified instructors.
