Welcome to Snead State Community College

Your success matters to us!

We are here to provide guidance and direction as you pursue your educational and career goals.

From the moment you apply to Snead State, our staff and faculty will guide you through your experience and provide information on financial aid, career services, tutoring, advising, campus engagement, and quality online and on-campus education.

We want you to have a complete college experience that provides opportunities in and outside the classroom.

We want to equip you with the tools to complete your degree or certificate and help you become one of our successful alumni.

Why should you choose Snead State Community College?

We are small enough to know your name, but large enough to help shape your future.

Earning an Associate’s degree opens more career opportunities for you than your high school diploma or GED. Tuition is more affordable at Snead State than at four-year universities or colleges. We have a rich tradition of educational excellence that dates back to 1898. The faculty and staff care that you succeed. Their caring, experience, and knowledge will help you reach your educational goals.

Your community college education here will have the atmosphere of a university, but with more personal attention. Snead State offers a complete college experience: a variety of courses and a variety of extracurricular activities–athletics, clubs, and organizations.
