What is QEP?
The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a comprehensive and data-driven plan that focuses on improving student learning and/or student success outcomes and is one of the major components of the 10-year SACSCOC reaffirmation process.

The QEP is designed to address a specific issue or theme that is relevant to the institution and its students. It involves a detailed, five-year plan of action with specific goals, objectives, and strategies for achieving those goals, and should not exceed 100 pages (75 pages of narrative; 25 pages of support documentation).
The full QEP report will be submitted to SACSCOC by Sept. 4, 2023. It will be reviewed by the SACSCOC On-Site Reaffirmation Review Committee during its visit to Snead State’s campus on October 23-26, 2023. Changes to the QEP may be required in response to the Committee’s findings.
In 2029, Snead State will submit a Fifth Year Interim Report to SACSCOC that includes an “Impact Report of the Quality Enhancement Plan” as one component.
