Parson Days

Parson Days is the new student orientation at Snead State Community College. During Parson Days, students receive valuable information about advising, class registration, parking, student IDs, and campus engagement. Students are able to map their course to graduation.

Parson Days are held during a two-week period each summer. This year, Parson Days will be held July 14-July 16, July 18-19 and July 21-July 24 at the Boaz Campus and July 17 at the Arab Instructional Site. Sessions at Boaz are from 9-Noon and 4-7 p.m. Arab Instructional Site sessions will be from 12-3 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. The session you attend does depend on your major. The official dates for your major can be found here.

To make your experience the best it can be, it's important that students complete the checklist before attending Parson Days. Priority registration for sessions will be given to students who have completed this checklist beforehand. Before you can register for a Parson Days session, you will need to make sure you have completed all of the items on this checklist. Not completing all items on the checklist will prevent you from registering for a Parson Days session.

Dual Enrollment students must also attend Parson Days. If you are a dual enrollment student, please click here.
