Alabama School of Gospel Music
The Alabama School of Gospel Music offers the highest caliber of instruction in the field of gospel music. Each student is placed in classes according to his or her age and music experience. One will find that the study of gospel music instills confidence, creativity, competence, and the love of God. Students will find their attendance at the ASGM a very rewarding experience. ASGM admits students of any race, color, religion, sex, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to students at the school.
Continuing Education Units
The Alabama School of Gospel Music is part of the Continuing Education Department at Snead State Community College, and attendance at ASGM yields Continuing Education Credit (10 hours of class attendance = 1.0 Continuing Education Unit (CEU).) Music students who attend ASGM on a full-time basis (both day and night) will receive 9.0 CEU’s. Day students will receive 6.0 CEU’s , and night students will receive 3.0 CEU’s.
